Common issues
Make sure the Desktop Agent is installed and running — look for its icon in your system tray or menu bar. The Agent listens on localhost only, so it must be running on the same computer as the browser you're printing from. If you just installed it, try refreshing the Designer tab.
Confirm the printer is powered on and connected via USB or network, and that it's already set up in your operating system's printer settings. The Agent lists the printers your OS can see; it doesn't discover printers your computer doesn't already know about.
This is expected the first time a site connects to your Desktop Agent — it's a security check so no unknown web page can print silently. Approve it if you recognize the site (such as designer.briolabel.com). You can review and revoke connected sites anytime from the Agent's Paired Clients screen.
Double-check the printer's configured label size and DPI match your template's dimensions in the Designer. Since all measurements are stored in millimetres and resolved before printing, a mismatch is almost always a printer-side size or calibration setting rather than a Designer issue.
Check the printer for paper jams, empty label stock, or an offline status first — most stuck jobs are a physical printer issue. You can review job status and retry from the Label's Print History. If it still won't go through, send us the print job ID and we'll take a look.
